The Pro Hoops Coaches Series’ is an elite, in-person development program for coaches and trainers in New York City and the Northeast. Coaches of all levels are given the opportunity to learn from current and former NBA coaching minds. May 11, 2024 was the 5th edition and first time teaming up with the NBPA, who hosted the event.
This year, NBA assistant coaches Jay Hernandez of the Nets and Kenny Atkinson from the Warriors shared their knowledge on areas ranging from team concepts and values, game strategies, and individual player development.
HSS Hospital for Special Surgery, the official sports medicine physicians to more than 20 pro teams and leagues, sponsored the event. HSS works with teams like the New York Giants, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and New York Mets.
WILL-V created custom shirts for all attendees of this year’s program and we outfitted all on-court players with our shorts. Our first product partnership to date – we’re proud to align with and support organizations that aim to teach, learn, and develop.
Core to our mission is recognizing the crucial role that coaches and all teachers play – these roles shape lives. This series allows the opportunity to develop local coaches’ skills which directly impacts thousands of players everywhere.
